A tender is a vessel used for servicing and providing support and entertainment to a private or charter yacht. They can be used for exploring shallow waters, a variety of water activities & sports such as fishing, wakeboarding, scuba diving, or the transportation of guests and provisions to/from shore.
First you'll need to contact us.. Your itinerary details and preferences will be discussed to select the tender that is right for you and an estimate with the associated costs will be provided for approval.
Anyone can rent a tender but ONLY people who hold a valid USCG Merchant Marine Credential are permitted to operate a tender. T/T Yachts has licensed USCG Merchant Marine Captains available for hire that can provide a worry free and seamless rental experience. Inquire for more details, availability, and pricing.
A 50% deposit is required to book a tender. The remaining 50% balance is due prior to the start of the rental period. Additionally, a 20% security deposit will be charged prior to the start of the rental period. This is to cover any incidentals or damages that are incurred to the tender during the rental period. Lastly, the following documents need to be completed prior to the start of the rental period.
Yes the 50% deposit is fully refundable if written cancellation is received no less than 72 hrs from the rental period starting date. If cancelled within 72 hrs, the deposit will be held & applied towards a future rental, within 1 year of the original rental period. If the future rental is not booked within 1 year of the original rental period, the deposit will be forfeited. The 20% security deposit will be refunded after the rental period, once the vessel has been inspected, and a Damage Inspection Report has been completed by a representative of T/T Yachts.
In most cases and with sufficient notice a change in the rental itinerary can be made. Please note additional charges will apply should the tender incur any costs due to the change in the rental itinerary.
